Terms of Service

FrictionLab LLC
Effective date: July 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the software products and websites operated by FrictionLab LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("FrictionLab," "we," "us"). Our products include ScholarPilot, TubeCommand, PromptCraft, LeadMate AI, Lumora, PropMate AI, and any other product listed at frictionlabai.com (together, the "Services").

By creating an account or using any of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

FrictionLab LLC builds and operates AI software products. Each product may have its own features, pricing, and product-specific terms shown at checkout or within the product. Where product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms apply to that product.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase a subscription.

3. Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected at checkout) through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • If we change a plan's price, we will notify you before the change applies to your next renewal.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of paid features until payment is resolved.
  • Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, available at frictionlabai.com/refund-policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for unlawful purposes or in violation of any applicable law;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts, or our infrastructure;
  • resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written permission;
  • use the Services to generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful;
  • interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services, including through scraping or automated bulk access beyond documented APIs.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

5. AI-generated content

Several of our products generate content using artificial intelligence. AI output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or publishing it. The Services do not provide legal, financial, immigration, medical, or other professional advice, and AI output should not be treated as such.

Subject to these Terms and your compliance with them, you own the output you generate through the Services, to the extent we hold any rights in it.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Services. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Services. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including software, design, branding, and documentation, are owned by FrictionLab LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Services other than the limited right to use them as intended.

8. Third-party services

The Services rely on third-party providers (including payment processing, hosting, authentication, and AI model providers). Your use of features powered by third parties may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue a product. If we discontinue a paid product, we will refund any prepaid fees covering the period after discontinuation.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrictionLab LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless applicable consumer law in your place of residence provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in-product notice before it takes effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
